Deer Creek R/C Airfield

Deer Creek State Park is located South of Mt. Sterling, OH. The R/C airfield is located at the south end of the park, near the beach. There is a gate with a combination lock on it. Although it is not considered a “Dark Sky” area. The observing is very good. The Field has very good Horizons and has a large, paved parking lot. There are no restrooms at the airfield and no electricity. There are several picnic tables and during the summer, there are restrooms at the beach. There are restrooms at the lodge.

Please follow all rules as laid out by the state of Ohio and CAS. Failure to follow the rules can result in our loss of the site! The site is maintained by the local R/C airplane club. Please respect the work they have done and their kindness in allowing us to use their location. Please leave it as clean as or cleaner than when you arrived.
